Music Education
In addition to being an experienced performer, Andrew has enjoyed many years of music teaching. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Arizona, where he gladly took the opportunity to grow as an educator. Additionally, Andrew has studied low brass pedagogy with Tom Ervin, Doug Camp, Kelly Thomas, and Scott Hartman, among others.
Andrew has been fortunate to already have many years of teaching experience at various ability levels. He served as conductor and assistant director of the University of Arizona Symphonic Band and Trombone choir, was the undergraduate teaching assistant for two UofA conducting courses, and taught for three years with the nationally-renowned Arizona Jazz Academy. Andrew was the Director of Bands at Doolen Middle School for two very successful years, where he lead 5 fine musical ensembles and taught a music appreciation course.

Private Lessons
Andrew has enjoyed many years of private teaching experience and looks forward to many more! Currently, Andrew is available for teaching private lessons on trombone, euphonium, tuba, and bass guitar. Full hour and 1/2 hour lessons are both available. Rates and location are variable depending on each students situation so please contact Andrew directly for more information.
